The White Swan retains its traditional plan of four rooms and a corridor with only minor changes. On entry you are confronted in the lobby by doors with etched glass saying 'Bar' (right) and 'Select Rooms': this latter term embraces the 'Select Room' itself (front), 'Tap Room' (rear) and 'Lounge' (rear right). The Public Bar has a partly old bar-back but a fairly modern counter front. Boarded ceilings feature in the public bar and select room. One fireplace is inter-war (select room) but the others are new.. Small modern counter added in the lounge.
