Originally a four roomed pub but opened-up by Thwaites and a number of modern fittings such as replacement fireplaces. However, it still retains a delightful intact small 'Parlour' on the front right with a 'Parlour' etched panel in the door, old fixed seating with good baffles either side of the door having an etched design in the glazed upper part, and bell pushes. It is served via a hatch with old mirrors either side within the counter but the fireplace looks a replacement. The main bar counter looks old and the bar back is a mixture of old and new; fridges have replaced most lower shelves. The rear right room is also served via a hatch/small bar with panelled front which may be old and there are old mirrors either side within the counter.
