Large Victorian pub still with some original fittings. There are two distinct parts with a wide gap between them. A vestibule on Kilburn High Road has a mosaic with the name of the pub prominently displayed. Inside the main bar would have been much divided originally as the several outside doors suggest. The counter front originally came near to the high road but is modern and has ben shortened. On the left was a publican's office, now converted to a disabled toilets. The rear part of the counter is surrounded on three sides by a terrazzo spittoon trough. There are some fine gilt and cut glass mirrors on the walls A glazed partition separates the public bar from the former billiard room (now dining room). It has a skylight with modern coloured glass panes, original panelled dado, elaborate wood surround fireplace, and vestibule but the small counter is modern.
