Two-storey pub that claims to date from 1691 and is of brick with green glazed tiles on the ground floor and render above. The bar fittings look to date from the 1930s with a canted fielded panelled counter and around the base is a chequerboard trough that may indicate the refit was by Trumans. The modest bar back looks 1930s.
Two-storey pub that claims to date from 1691 and is of brick with green glazed tiles on the ground floor and render above. Originally two rooms (and an off sales?), it is now a single room. There is a disused door on the left hand side of the building that gave access to the left hand room. The only door is now the central front door the other side of which there are a couple of baffles, and there is a U-shaped interior around a central servery. The bar fittings look to date from the 1930s with a canted fielded panelled counter and around the base is a chequerboard trough that may indicate the refit was by Trumans. There is a break in the trough which may indicate there was an off-sales just opposite the front door. The modest bar back looks 1930s. A brick fireplace on the right is not old and the fixed seating looks modern.
